How it works
Each case moves through statuses that the clinic and the laboratory see at the same time: Draft, Submitted, Awaiting quote approval, In design, Design to be validated, In production, Shipped, Delivered. The case shows whose turn it is to act, and the history keeps a record of what happened.
The laboratory issues the quote. The clinic approves or rejects it. If rejected, the case returns to the laboratory. The clinic may also propose a price for a submitted case, and the laboratory decides.
When the case requires a design, the laboratory sends design images to the clinic for validation.
A technician takes on the case, or the manager assigns it to someone else.
The clinic can cancel a case, with a reason, until the quote is approved. The cancellation is kept in the history.
